Natural Medicine Cabinet

So many of us are on this journey to living a more natural/non-toxic life.  One of the last places we rid out the chemicals is in our medicine cabinets!  In all reality-this is probably the first place we should start.  Today I’m going to give you some tips and alternatives so that you can rid your medicine cabinet of harmful products!  Read on to find out what is in my natural medicine cabinet!

A lot of what is in my medicine cabinet might need a bit of explaining so follow the links to find out how to use these natural remedies!  What I have listed below is exactly what is in my cabinet.  Apart from the occasional IB Profin, the girls and I don’t take anything besides what’s on the list.  Natural remedies can work slower then synthetic so that’s why I do keep something unnatural for pain relief but other then that, I would rather keep my system clean then achieve short-term relief  that comes with side effects.

One more natural remedy that I keep on hand are the ingredients to combat dehydration.  No worries-I’m sharing this recipe later in the week!  Stay tuned!

I hope this has inspired you to rid out your own cabinet!  I want to make it easy and hopefully it helps for me to share exactly what is in my own home.  Please share your natural remedies in the comments!  I’m sure I’m forgetting something!!

  1. The apple cider vinegar is amazing for sore throats. I just put a splash in water and sip it throughout the day. For my kids I will sweeten it with raw honey. I learned this from my grandmother years ago. It really works! ACV is amazing!
