Happy New Year!! 2015 is a chapter I am happily slamming shut. I’m glad it’s over and happy and hopeful for 2016! Ahhh, there’s something so beautiful about a fresh, new year! Many of you know the struggles I’ve faced this year and I appreciate your support through out it-I really appreciate you loyal readers that stuck with me when I so desperately tried to stay upbeat and keep the posts coming despite feeling so low. I will say though-this blog kept me afloat and I’m so glad to have finished out the year on a high note! So, in addition to wishing you a very warm and happy New Year I also wanted to list the TOP 5 DIY posts of Jenni Raincloud this year!
5. Easy Shiny Hair Rinse
This is one of the simplest DIYs you can do but what a great one! Believe it or not, apple cider vinegar is amazing for hair. Not only does it help detangle and smooth the hair, it also balances pH, removes build up and stimulates hair growth! (and I promise, it doesn’t stink after a minute or 2!!!)
4. DIY Lash Lengthening Serum
The reviews are in, and many, many people are seeing results with this serum! It’s a very simple concept-nourish the lashes and follicles and the hair will grow and thrive.
3. DIY Anti Wrinkle Eye Stick
This DIY was the number 1 DIY of 2014. It’s still one of my most made DIYs! It’s incredibly nourishing for the skin around the eyes and mouth and because it contains ZERO fillers (like water), it is very potent and fast acting.
2. DIY Belly Butter
Pregnant mommas seem to agree with me-Making your own belly butter to help prevent stretch marks and nourish stretched out, itchy skin is the way to go. This is another easy DIY that ensures no chemicals come in contact with your life bearing belly!
1. DIY Brow Thickening Serum
The number one DIY this year happens to be my simple 2-ingredient brow serum. Thick brows are in and a simple mix of castor oil and rosemary get those babies going! You better believe I’ll be mixing a batch of this up due to my botched brow wax from last night :/
So there you go-reader approved, top 5 DIYs of 2015! Now, I’m gonna put a lid on 2015 because I’ve got so many fun, new DIYs up my sleeve for 2016! Stay tuned and BIG HUGS from me!
xx, Jenni
Jenni,
Happy Nee Year! 2016 is going to be a wonderful year! I think I speak for many of your readers when I say that I truly appreciate how open you have been. We wish you the very best!
And about this post? I can say that castor oil works wonders on lashes and brows, which I learned thanks to you. I bought your anti wrinkle stick and love it. It’s so nice that you give us the option to make it ourselves or buy from you. Thanks for all you do!
Thanks Elizabeth! Happy New Year to you too!!
Hi Jenni,
Have been here just for a couple of weeks but I love your posts especially skincare part ☺️
I have one request and I’m hoping you can help me. I’ve been searching everywhere on how to do face day cream for oily type of skin that helps get rid of scars, blemishes and acne and whiten skin while all ingredients are natural 😔 but have not found any. Do you have that post ? Love u !! ❤️❤️
Tyn-That’s a tall order!! I have something that will somewhat help but the whitening skin is a hard one-Can you expand on that? Go HERE for the lotion I think might help. Thank you so much!
