I decided to round up some of my favorite beauty hacks! These beauty tips are just too good to keep to myself any longer! I have 5 tried and true beauty secrets that have changed my beauty routine for the better! I know these tips will save you time, toxins and money! It can be hard to be a natural girl in today’s beauty world but these secrets actually prove that beauty can be simple and safe! These secrets have been life savers. So let’s dig right in!
#1 Dry Nails in a Flash:
I love my nails painted but I so rarely have time to let my nails dry. In fact, up until I discovered this hack, 100% of the time I would end up with smudged nails. I had heard that spraying cooking spray will instantly dry nails but I don’t use cooking spray so I got logical and realized that it must be the oils that cause nail polish to dry so quickly! Turns out it is and it’s nothing short of a miracle!
Add 1 drop of oil, any oil you like, to each nail. I typically wait about 2 minutes after I’ve painted the last coat. My nails are completely dry and ready to go within 5 minutes (maybe less, I haven’t pushed it) of using the oil! Plus, my cuticles benefit from extra hydration! My nails are shinier and definitely smudge free thanks to this nugget!#2 Restore Moisture and Shine to Hair:
Hot oil treatments are so super simple it’s stupid. But of course, the beauty industry can’t keep it simple. There are actual harmful chemicals in hot oil treatments! We all know how oil can transform your skin. Well, hair is the same way. Dry, processed hair is so thirsty for oil and all it takes is a nourishing oil like olive oil, sweet almond oil or jojoba oil!
Once a week I use about a tablespoon of sweet almond oil on my hair. I apply the oil about 1/2 way down and allow it to set on my hair for as long as I have before showering. This oil treatment is so incredibly simple, free from harmful ingredients and works like a charm! My hair is so smooth and soft days after applying this oil! Find sweet almond oil HERE.
#3 Ditch the Lip wax and Shave!
I have always hated lip waxes. In fact, I used to do them as part of my facial business and I even hated doing them on other women! I don’t know for sure but it seems to me that ripping hair off the upper lip in such an aggressive practice and can’t be good for aging gracefully. Not long ago I found Tinkles-the tiny facial razor. Ever since I’ve been shaving my lip hair and wondering why I didn’t do this sooner! I must admit-I have blonde lip hair but I have a lot of it. It has never come back thicker or more visible. It takes seconds and you can shave the rest of your face as well! It’s a great form of exfoliation! I advise you to cleanse your skin first, then apply a facial oil before shaving. It will help protect your skin from any possible irritation. Find Tinkles HERE.
#4 Whiten Your Teeth Instantly!
Using chemical filled teeth whiteners is a quick and easy way to bombard your system with a crazy amount of harmful chemicals! One of the most natural and effective ways to whiten your teeth is by using activated charcoal.
It’s so super simple too-Either break open a capsule or buy the powder. You can sprinkle a small amount right onto your clean, wet tooth brush. Brush your teeth for at least 1-2 minute. The longer you brush, the more stains you remove! You can use as often as needed. Find activated charcoal capsules HERE.
#5 Skin care for your chest!
This might seem like a no-brainer but I can’t say enough how important it is to continue your skin care regime all the way down your chest. Anything I do to my face, I do to my chest as well. Whether it’s weekly exfoliating or daily facial oils, my chest needs it all. Since many of us get our SPF from our makeup, our chest often looks much more aged then our face. A chest can always reveal a women’s age. It’s never too late to start extending your skin care to your chest. You’ll be shocked at what a difference a couple of weeks can make!! I think this is such a great secret that I did a whole post on it!
So there you have it! These are my absolute favorite beauty hacks that make my life a whole lot easier! I hope you’ve enjoyed them! If you have any natural hacks, please share them below!!

Great tips, Jenni! The charcoal totally works for your teeth! Will have to try the nail one for sure… I have no patience for my nails to try. And I always take care of my neck…hadn’t really thought of my chest. Makes so much sense…I can’t wait to see the difference it makes!!
Elizabeth-You’ll die-It’s so fast when you apply the oil plus it helps your cuticles. It has totally made painting my nails worth it! In fact, I just used it on my daughter’s nails last night and neither one of them have smudges-it’s a miracle! I haven’t painted their nails in forever cause they won’t sit still!!
