As you can see, my blog covers a lot of different subjects. I must say, while skin care has always been my profession, fashion is what I have the most fun with.
Just a little background on my fashion journey-I have always felt that fashion should represent who you are. In junior high and high school I wore whatever felt right. I really enjoyed keeping up with current trends and loved shopping. I had no issue wearing something unique and different-I guess you could say I wasn’t too worried about standing out. In my 20’s, going out for drinks and dancing always required a trip to the mall beforehand. Heels, designer jeans and flirty tops were my go-to for a night out.
Fast forward a few years and 2 babies later and my style went from, fashion forward to frumpy! I’m sure many of you mother’s reading this can relate. Babies come and your world turns upside down. What was once so important becomes forgotten. Plus, when you have small children, you are lucky to get a shower. Much less wear heels to the grocery store! I guess you could say I lost who I was in a way. Having 2 children under the age of 4, plus working from home, completely took me out of the fashion loop. Let me be clear though-having kiddos was the best thing that could ever happen! Losing my fashion side was a small price to pay for the life I gained becoming a mother.
Now, I’m back in the game. I’ve become tired of my sweats and work out clothes uniform! I’m tired of the random school functions, coffee with friends or date nights when I feel insecure because the outfit I have on isn’t put together. I’ve discovered some amazing fashion bloggers, done some much needed shopping and put together some head to toe looks that I can feel confident about. I want what is on the outside to represent what is on the inside. I don’t so much care about sporting the right labels as much as I want to represent myself as a strong, smart, yet approachable woman who knows who she is and what she stands for. Can fashion really do that? I think it can.
I have become part of an affiliate program called rewardStyle. Chances are, your favorite fashion bloggers are part of rewardStyle. rewardStyle has created an AMAZING app for Instagram called Like To Know It. Basically, this is a way you can find out where your favorite Instagrammers are shopping!

**Because rewardStyle is an affiliate program, I do receive a commission if you purchase any of the products I link on my blog or on Instagram. I like to be upfront about this but I want you to know, I do not link anything I haven’t or wouldn’t buy for myself. This also is true for product review posts and ingredients in my skin care recipes. If I can’t link the exact article of clothing, I will link the piece I like better then the outfit I am wearing. Without my affiliations, I could not spend the amount of time it takes to keep Jenni Raincloud going. Thank you so much for your support!
