DIY or BUY: Anti Wrinkle Eye Stick

Sharing is caring!

Anti Wrinkle Eye Stick DIY or BUYMy Anti Wrinkle Eye Stick recipe has been a favorite on my blog as well as a favorite product in the Etsy shop for years now.  It originally was in solid form which you can find that recipe HERE. I decided to change some ingredients and keep it in it’s liquid form since a roll on makes for a very easy application. Recently I also changed a couple of ingredients to make it a more high end, high quality product!

This roll on is a great product to help with the fine lines around the eyes. I apply it at night under my eyes, paying special attention to where I tend to get wrinkles as well as around the mouth. Because it is jam packed with antioxidants and regenerative ingredients, this “stick” is a great tool to fight aging as well as support the delicate tissue around the eyes. As far as fighting existing wrinkles, it has been known to reduce the appearance as well as plump the skin making it more youthful.

Ingredients:

Rosehip Seed Oil, as we know from above is one of the best anti aging oils. It is proven to reduce the signs of aging as well as rejuvenate delicate skin. It has been known to reduce scaring and lighten age spots.

Evening Primrose Oil is an excellent choice for an eye treatment because it is known to even discoloration in the skin including dark circles.  It is rich in omega fatty acids which helps slow down the aging process by nourishing the delicate skin that is so prone to “crows feet”.  Evening Primrose is known to give the skin a tightened appearance as well as rejuvenate the skin.

Sweet Almond Oil is highly nourishing and rich in vitamins.

I’ve omitted Meadowfoam Oil because I could not get my hands on a quality, organic brand so I decided to add Pomegranate Oil and Seabuckthorn instead since they are 2 of my favorite anti aging oils.

Pomegranate Seed Oil is an excellent oil for delicate, aging skin. This deeply penetrating oil has a high content of Vitamin C and helps protect and restore collagen. It improves elasticity and tone of the skin. It is high in antioxidants which helps improve the overall appearance of wrinkles.

Sea Buckthorn Oil is truly a nutrient dense oil that is highly effective in reducing the signs of aging. It contains vitamins A, C, E, B1, B2, B5, B9 (folic acid), B12, D, K & P. In fact, it contains 12x more Vitamin C than an orange! It also contains over 24 minerals and 18 amino acids. It is highly moisturizing, regenerates the outer layer of skin cells and contains 60 free radical fighting antioxidants!

Carrot seed helps to regenerate skin cells, is high in Vitamin C and helps reduce dark spots.  It is one of my favorite anti aging essential oils!

DIY Anti Wrinkle Eye Stick

No pre mixing or heat is required to make this. Simply add all of the ingredients into a roll on bottle like THIS one. A small funnel is very helpful as well.

This product contains zero water based ingredients so it’s shelf life will be 6 mos. plus.

This is a super simple recipe where no heating is required which helps preserve the benefits of each individual oil.  Wrinkles and dark spots are reduced thanks to rosehip seed and sea buckthorn oil. Skin cells are renewed and regenerated, thanks to carrot seed and extreme rejuvenation is thanks to all the oils working together to strengthen and replenish your skin.  Whether your 13 or 90, the skin around the eyes needs to be treated with extra care because it’s delicate and aging is the consequence.

Using high quality ingredients is an absolute must when it comes to anti aging DIYs. I always get my ingredients from Mountain Rose Herbs because they offer organic, high quality oils and essential oils. Unfortunately you just can’t trust most of the “organic” ingredients on Amazon.
