When I think of argan oil, I think luxury. It’s one of those ancient oils that has the power to beautify. Today let’s talk about the benefits of argan oil and make an argan yogurt tightening mask that will not only nourish your skin, it will brighten it as well!
This mask is both tightening and moisturizing. It even exfoliates due to the lactic acid in the yogurt! It’s antibacterial and extremely nourishing and comforting to the skin.
DIY Yogurt Mask Ingredients:
Argan Oil is HIGH in vitamin E, a very effective antioxidant that helps reduce wrinkles. It is a powerful healer as well as anti-inflammatory. Argan oil is said to reduce the appearance of stretch marks, scars and sun/age spots. It is an extremely nourishing oil that your skin can absorb quickly. Find it HERE.
Yogurt is one of my favorite ingredients for DIY masks. Probiotics on the skin are a real thing. Yogurt can bring balance to your skin just as it can your gut! Yogurt also contains a good amount of zinc which when used topically, is helpful when needing to reduce the appearance of scars and sun/age spots. Lactic acid helps rid your skin of dead skin cells while the milk nourishes.
Honey draws water to the skin. It is antibacterial, anti inflammatory and healing. You can see why it’s a great choice for your homemade masks! Honey is also high in antioxidants which help your skin combat aging! Did you know you can even cleanse with honey? Read about that HERE!
Rose water is antibacterial, antiseptic and anti inflammatory. It is extremely rich in vitamins A, C, D, and E. Rose water is amazing for dry, sensitive skin. It is balancing to all skin types and is known for it’s anti aging properties. Rose water has even been known to reduce under eye bags!
Argan Yogurt Tightening Mask:
- 1 spoon full Greek yogurt
- 1 teaspoon organic raw honey
- 3 drops Argan Oil (find it HERE)
- 1 Teaspoon Rose water (find it HERE)
Directions:
- Mix all ingredients in a glass bowl
- Apply all over the face and neck
- Let sit for 10-15 minutes
- Rinse with cool water
- Follow up with 3 drops of argan oil
Just like with essential oils, argan oil needs to be bought from a reputable source. For pure, organic argan oil go HERE.
You’re going to love how baby soft your skin will be after this mask! My skin feels so refreshed and nourished! This is a must-try!
xx, Jenni

Jenni, I am new to your page and I love everything I read in it. I am learning so much. I subscribed a few days ago, something I rarely do.
I prepared the “Cypress Firming and anti aging serum recipe” and I began using it as soon as I received all the ingredients.
There is a place where you comment about adding Argan Oil to one of your recipes. I don’t remember exactly where I read it or to what preparation. Could it be to the Cypress Firming and Anti Aging Serum?
Thank you so much for sharing you “beautiful“ knowledge and expertise and for your attention to the present note.
God bless you
Mary
Mary-First off-Thank you so much! Yikes-I’m not sure where that would’ve been. Can you be more specific what it was I was getting at? I don’t use Argan very much but I do like it. I actually am not sure I have hardly any recipes with it. Sorry-wish I could be more help!!
