It’s my favorite time of year and I wanted to sprinkle in some Halloween inspo. to make your Halloween weekend the coziest, spookiest and happiest it’s ever been! If you’ve followed me for a while, you know my nickname, Jenni Raincloud comes from loving all things gloomy, stormy, creepy and dark. Funny fact, when I started this blog-I didn’t know it would turn into a skin care blog or else I would’ve named it something more fitting!
Anyhow, I’m here to share my Halloween playlist and show this year’s decor! I’ve also rounded up some super fun and festive t-shirts and I’ve got a few last minute costume ideas too! I’ll also share what we’re planning to watch and eat this holiday weekend!
I try to mix it up each year using very cheap decorations and repurposing what I already have. This year I took to gold paint and sprayed a few plastic bugs and snakes. They turned out incredibly chic to my delight! Don’t underestimate the creepiness of strategically placed snakes-I love subtlety when it comes to Halloween decor! I also found a few skulls a few years ago at Ross and put faux succulents in one and attached butterflies to the other which gives pops of color and adds a bit of whimsey! Also, candles are a very cheap way to boost the spooky factor! I also found a few Martha Stewart decorations for insanely cheap on Amazon Prime! Martha knows Halloween.

I also have made the best and easiest apple crisp. It’s a family favorite!
EASY Apple Crisp Recipe

- 6 sliced apples
- Slice apples and place in a large greased pan.
- Melt a stick of butter.
- Pour cookie mix over the apples.
- Pour melted butter over cookie mix and apples.
- Mix or don’t mix-doesn’t really seem to matter.
- Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
Also, you might want to try Indoor S’mores. So easy and sooooo good!

I tend to revamp this same playlist each year. I’m so happy with the new additions this year. I’ve been listening to it non-stop! My kids love it too! Find my playlist HERE.

On my other blog, I posted THIS post for 3 ideas on last minute costumes. Gone are the days where I use Halloween as an excuse to look like a hooker. Now, I want to not look generic! Whether you’re just answering the door or going to a big party, I think these looks will be perfect. Also, go HERE for last years post with 3 more costumes as well as other ideas!
I’ve also rounded up some fun holiday t-shirts that are affordable and 1-2 day shipping! Who doesn’t need a Hocus Pocus tee?
