I’ve been sent a lot of products lately, so many that I’ve quit accepting them because I don’t have enough skin or time for so many products reviews (sigh, weird blogger problems)! But-I had to share this particular product because it’s going to be my right hand man for warmer weather! Kopari is a natural body care company where all the products have a base of coconut oil and this product is liquid gold and nothing short of perfect.
After a long hard winter, I don’t know about you but my skin is a little worse for wear. I’m scaly, pasty and hairy! Ha, that paints a rather morbid picture but I’m sure most of you know exactly what I’m talking about. I’m not sure that I’m ready to bare my legs but with Kopari Coconut Body Glow (and a wax) it’s going to be ok.
I’m betting all of us have slathered coconut oil on our skin while thinking, “could beautiful skin be this easy (and cheap)?With all the amazing benefits of coconut oil it seems as if it’s too good to be true-Well, it kind of is. How much time have I wasted waiting for the coconut oil to soak into my skin only to give up, put cloths on and keep my fingers crossed the oil isn’t staining my favorite pair of yoga pants? This body glow lotion is light and soaks in immediately. Like, it soaks in weirdly fast. It’s light yet it gives a good amount of moisture. Seriously, say bye bye to ashy, dry skin! It smells amazing too and the color brightens the skin so nicely.
I’m not going to lie-in my late teens, early twenties I totally was that girl in the club with body glitter all over. I incorporated it into my makeup looks like I was some other worldly space creature. Hello silver eye shadow. So now that I’m in my late 30’s, I am not OK with wearing body glitter. This product is not that. I tried really hard to capture the glow this lotion gives. I hope you can tell. You just have to see it in person to get it. I can’t stress how subtle it is but yet not so subtle that it doesn’t show up. It gives the skin this beautiful gold dusting as if you’re lit from within. It’s like a filter in a bottle. Yes, please.
On top of the lovely glow and non-greasy moisture boost-it lasts. Even after washing it off my hands I could still see the shimmer! I will say, the body glow doesn’t give a ton of tan color. You’ll need a sunless tanner for that but it does take away the pasty look white ashy skin tends to get.

Jenni, this sounds amazing! I have used and like the Burt’s Bees shimmer lotion, but the shimmer is just a little too white for me. This sounds perfect! Thanks for the tip!
