I have been a big advocate for the oil cleansing method, but after realizing my skin was reacting badly to sweet almond oil, I decided to try something a bit different. Sometimes skin care is trial and error! Anyway-I decided that since I like Eminence’s stone crop serum so much, maybe it was a good idea to try out more of their line. I decided to mix up my normal skin care routine, ditch the OCM and try a skin clearing cleanser.
Before I start raving about this cleanser, let me briefly explain my skin type-In the winter, I have super dry skin. In the summer I experience blackheads all over and a few whiteheads on my cheek bones. I don’t experience too many blemishes, mainly bumps, but I’m no stranger to random hormonal breakouts either. For me, using a product that is going to work by drying my skin out just won’t work. While my skin doesn’t react initially to products burning or stinging, I am sensitive enough that doing too much to my skin will bring on the breakouts and clogs.
I can not get over Eminence’s Probiotic cleanser. I have been using it for a month now and I could not be happier. I use it morning and night then follow up with a light moisturizer. As with everything that clears the skin, there is a detox period. About a week in, I was experiencing red bumps. It seemed like my blackheads and whiteheads were very pronounced. After about 2 1/2 weeks I started noticing my skin smoothing out. Now that I’m a month in, I am so thrilled with how even and smooth my skin is looking! I love that it doesn’t dry me out. It doesn’t leave me feeling tight and while it doesn’t sting or burn, I can tell it is working. Plus, it smells amazing. I will say, it does sting my eyes. While I use it to take mascara off, I probably shouldn’t.
With Eminence, I’m starting to be a true believer. I’ve never used a line that was so natural yet so effective! I’m trying one product at a time in order to know exactly which product is delivering results. I can’t wait to try more products. I would suggest this cleanser to anyone dealing with clogged skin. Let me tell you, getting rid of blackheads and whiteheads with just a cleanser is crazy!

Thank you so much for sharing this info. You are so right it is trial and error with skin care and I want to go a natural as I possible can. I look forward to researching Eminence and finding what goodies will work for me. This is a skin care journey now.
Thank you so much. I have been trying OCM and was happy except for my whiteheads. I just have not been able to get rid of them. This summer, I have even resorted to using witch hazel as an astringent and it’s not working either. I am anxious to try Eminence and see how it works for me. At age 63, I need all the help I can get!
Marilyn! I hope it helps you too! Whiteheads are so hard to get rid of. Almost nothing works but lancing them. I have had to lance many of mine. This cleanser has worked really well though. I am about to review Eminence’s corresponding serum that might be helpful as well. Find it HERE.
Thanks!!
I will have to try this! No more OCM ever again for me!
Can you tell me what light moisturizer you use? Thanks!
Hi Monica! I use Coola’s SPF 30 light moisturizer. The link is in the post if you need to find out more. I also use a heavier one sometimes just to make sure my face gets enough moisture. That one is the Eminence 8 greens whipped moisturizer. So far I love it, no clogs!
Can’t wait to try this cleanser! Can I use this in conjunction with your skin clearing serum and rosehips moisturizer?
Mesha-Absolutely! That would be a great combo! You’ll love the cleanser!
Just purchased it off Amazon, crossing my finger this works on my adult acne on my chin. Literally have tried SO MANY THINGS. I’ve noticed my acne is way worse in the winter becuase of how dry it is in Colorado.
I’ll update once I try it out. What do you use afterwards for a moisturizer?
Hi Katelyn! Oh good-yes, update me! I used the moisturizer with the cleanser-it helped so much for my breakouts-It’s so weird that the dryer we are the more adult acne. Not everyone experiences it but I sure do! Good luck, hope it works well for you!
So i’ve been at this product for almost a month now and I still get some cyst type zits but not NEARLY as bad. Like it’s down to one every so often and they don’t hurt near as much and they don’t take as long to disappear. I’ve been pairing this up with the acne spot treatment and lotion fromArbonne which is also all natural seriously so far so good. THANK YOU I will keep going after it until the bottle is gone and see how it is in a couple months!
