DIY Dry Skin Roll On

DIY Dry Skin Roll-On
So I am a salve making fool right now.  Seriously…..  I’ve made like 10 in the past few days!  The possibilities are endless!  I decided to make one I could put in a roll on (deodorant) container so I could roll it on my heals, knees, elbows and mainly on the backs of my hands while working at the computer!  It works like a charm and was a cinch to create!  This would be great to take to work and use since rubbing in lotion tends to make a mess on your computer keyboard!  I used Olive Oil as my base but you could use any oil you wanted.  Coconut would be awesome as would Jojoba for a more moisturizing salve.  I chose essential oils mainly for aromatherapy reasons.  You could add lemon and/or rosemary to help fade age spots on the hands, or peppermint for sleepiness and brain fog or maybe blend bergamot and lavender to ease anxiety!
Just remember, lemon and bergamot are citrus oils and could cause a sensitivity to the sun so if you love these scents like I do, use your roll on in the evening.

Where do you get the push up containers?

Hi! Here is where I found mine-
but, I found some that seem to be better quality but are more expensive here-
You can also use an empty deodorant container, the salve is solid enough.
    Thanks for reading!

Hello I was wondering how many roll ups does this make. And what is the weight amount of the beeswax.

Hello, I don’t weigh my ingredients so I have no idea what the weight of 2 TBSP. of Beeswax is-I don’t have a scale or I would go weigh for you!
This recipe makes about 6 oz. It really depends on what kind of Roll Up you get, but most likely this will give you 1 roll up.
    Thanks for visiting!
