As I was cleaning out my makeup/skin care drawer, I realized just how many 100 Percent Pure products I have accumulated. I also realized that it’s been exactly a year since I discovered them after realizing I had been green washed by Tarte. I wanted to give you all the skinny on the products that I absolutely am still using and more in love with then ever and also include the products that I won’t repurchase.
I think 100 Percent Pure is a fantastic company that you can feel safe with and while I’m an affiliate of this company, I thought it would be helpful if I did a super honest post. I’m going to tell you what I tell my girlfriends so by all means, rest assured, you’re getting my personal opinion.
First off, I’m going to skim across the products I’m not going to repurchase because while they weren’t outstanding for me, they might be for you. I’ve never had a product from 100 Percent Pure disappoint but some are better then others. First up, I didn’t love the Lip Caramel in Rum Nougat (no longer available). The color is absolutely what I was looking for and highly pigmented but I didn’t feel it was comfortable on my lips and it didn’t last.
With skin care, I’ve tried the SPF 30 spray, the vitamin C serum and the resveratrol mask.
I’m in love with the Bright Eyes Eye Pads. I’ve had some late nights lately and these pads are so amazing at plumping and de-puffing. Not to mention, thoroughly hydrating the under eye area making wrinkles look way less obvious. Plus, I actually get 2 uses out of 1 set of pads if I store them in the a plastic baggy.
I can not say enough about 100 Percent Pure’s nail polishes. They are actually 10 FREE! This means they are free of formaldehyde, toluene, DBP, camphor, formaldehyde resin, xylene, parabens, fragrances, phthalates and animal ingredients. I’ve never had another nail polish go on so creamy, look shiny and solid and LAST! I get a good 5 days out of an application! I highly recommend their polishes and in fact, just ordered several more colors!
Ok, let’s get into makeup. I’m crazy about their lipsticks. I feel like they last so much longer then Tarte lipsticks. Plus, the pigment in the colors are much more vibrant. I have THIS and THIS lipstick and can’t say enough about their quality. I did THIS red lip makeup tutorial if you’re interested.
I also love the Naked 11 palette because it contains a highlighter, blush and 3 versatile and neutral eye shadows that last.
I love the highlighter in Northern Lights. I feel this is a very subtle luminizer that goes on creamy and evenly on the cheekbones and above the upper lip. It also dries quickly but leaves a dewy shimmer. If I want a more dramatic highlight, I use the highlighter in the palette.
I am not a big fan of concealer but I do love the Long Last Concealer with Super Fruits. It covers well and isn’t chalky or cakey and stays put.
100 Percent Pure’s Fruit Pigmented Ultra Lengthening Mascara is great. As of yesterday, it was my favorite out of all the natural mascaras I’ve tried. However, I’ve discovered another mascara that is super natural but comparable to Tarte’s Amazonian Clay Gifted mascara (I don’t use it anymore because it contains propylene glycol). I will share this mascara very soon. I’d like to wear if more before I suggest. it.
With brow products I have a hands down favorite. I literally don’t want to be without the Green Tea Fiber Brow Builder in light brown. I love how natural this makes my brows look. I don’t like the look of painted on eye brows and while it’s more precise with the Long Last Brows, the brow builder is just more natural and easier to apply. It’s literally like extensions for your brows.
I hope this honest review of 100 Percent Pure has been helpful!! What are you hits and misses?!
xx, Jenni

Always appreciate your sincerity…I think it is something we really owe to our followers. I am with you on the mascara…couldn’t be more in love with it. I use black tea, and it is just as intensely colored as the Perversion from Urban Decay that I used to use. (Which I should add had a pretty decent rating from the EWG…way better than Tarte!) Also love the nail polishes…the colors are gorgeous and I get better wear out of them than any others. That being said, I have gel on my nails right now. Not at all clean and green, but wanted to have long lasting color and shine, and it delivers. Also love the 100% Pure eyeliner…stays on really well but removes easily and pencil is nice and soft. I definitely go more with the makeup than skincare, simply because I love the products I was already using.
Thank you for your honest review. I love 100% Pure but haven’t tried a lot of their products because they are expensive and not available in stores. I want to try their nail polishes. I have been using the coffee eye cream for years and love it. I have some eyeshadows and liners and like them. I really want to get the superfoods face cream but it’s so expensive!! I also keep going back to Tarte. It’s not natural but at least it’s cruelty-free and easy to buy locally. Thank you for sharing your life and your thoughts and struggles. I have enjoyed a lot of your posts in the past.
