With the holidays, comes parties and parties mean switching up your typical day look for a fun holiday vibe. It’s always fun to mix up your look for a more festive style. I just happened upon THIS glittery top coat from OPI Nicole. It’s not my typical style but I bought it, feeling up to the challenge of creating a sophisticated party look without looking tacky. To my excitement, all I had to do was paint my nails and apply this top coat and VOILA! I had nails that looked gorgeous and it didn’t require much of a steady hand or loads of time!
I chose a dark blue for my color. It reminds me of the night sky and the glitter is a bit reminiscent of stars-I would say this is perfect for Christmas time! You could also use a bright red-Red would really look great under the gold glitter!

Loved this idea so much I went to Target and bought the red Opi “an affair in red square” and the Nicole Opi sparkles…”lips are dripping honey”. Just painted them and I LOVE them! I typically am not a person to wear bright nail polish but this is perfect for Christmas!! What is the name of the dark blue you used?
