Spark Naturals Winter Survival Kit!

Winter Survival Kit Spark Naturals

Ugh.  Winter.  I wasn’t singing this tune mid September when we were having 95 degrees and no rain in sight.  Don’t get me wrong, I love anything cozy.  In order to truly get cozy, it has to be cold outside (at least I think so).   So the whole holiday we’ve had a roaring fire, worn pajamas, sipped hot chocolate and sneezed.  With the good comes the bad.  Lack of vitamin D from the sun, stale, recycled, dry air, and too much un healthy foods around the holidays all contribute to colds and flu during this time. Seriously, bears have that right idea.

I don’t know what I would do with out Spark Natural’s essential oils, diffusers and salves so I want to share with you their new Winter Survival Kit.  It’s absolutely everything you could possibly need to get you through till spring.

Cold and Flu Bomb Spark Naturals

The kit contains:

I talked in more depth HERE about the Cold & Flu Kit.

The Respire Blend is my go-to for diffusing.  It is so helpful to keep this blend in the diffuser when any of us get stuffy or feel a cold coming on.  It helps open the air ways and relieve congestion along with protecting from common germs.  This blend contains Peppermint, Melaleuca, Eucalyptus, Rosemary, Lemon and Clove.

The Winter Survival kit also contains Eucalyptus as well which is THE best oil for relieving stuffiness.  I sometimes just diffuse eucalyptus for relief.  Both respire and eucalyptus can be applied to the bottoms of the feet for immune support.

You also get the Revive Salve which is perfect for rubbing on the chest and throat during a cold or flu.  The Revive Salve is Spark Natural’s version of a natural vapor rub.  It contains Eucalyptus, Camphor, Peppermint, Lavender 100% Pure Organic Virgin Coconut Oil, Organic Beeswax, Extra Virgin Organic Olive Oil & Vitamin E.  It’s so healthy for the skin and the perfect way to get oils into the body.

The Respire Stix is what I carry with me everywhere.  My girls still can’t grasp the concept of blowing their nose so they are constantly wiping.  With all that wiping comes raw skin.  This product not only helps congestion, it also is very healing to the delicate skin around the nose.

The Defense Salve is made up of Spark Natural’s Shield (which is the same recipe as YL’s Thieves).  This should be applied to the feet and is also an excellent hand moisturizer that heals skin as well as kills germs and supports immunity.  Because this blend tends to be “hot”, this salve is a must-have for little kiddos.  It’s perfect to apply to their skin without worrying that it will burn.

Refresh Blend is Spark Natural’s best oil for cleaning.  I love to add it to the sprayer which is also included with vinegar and water to spray down every surface in my home.  It works great as a glass cleanser and is perfect for granite and stainless steel.  I spray door knobs, toilet seats and table tops to help kill germs in their tracks.  A simple recipe for this spray is 3/4 white vinegar, 1/4 water and 15 drops of respire.

Spark Naturals Salves

You need this kit.  Besides a diffuser, this kit will hopefully save you a trip to the doctor and get you through the season without any major illnesses.  I’m not sure how long they will offer it and at such a discount so if you’re in need, grab one!  Feel free to message me for any specifics.  I just skimmed the uses and I know it gets confusing.  For more info. on essential oils you can find all my e.o. posts HERE.

Find the kit HERE.

**Since this post, I have switched essential oil companies and now prefer to use Mountain Rose Herbs essential oils.  They are unadulterated and organic, not to mention extremely affordable.  Go HERE to check them out.  I still stand behind the quality of Spark Naturals essential oils but find MRH’s commitment to quality and sustainability to be the company I prefer to use.
