My Latest Obsessions…..March Edition

Voss Water bottlesI’m starting a new bi-monthly series here @ Jenni Raincloud!  I like to shop.  A lot.  I thought I would share with you my current must haves!  These are products I own or am planning to purchase that excite and inspire me!  Some of you know I love much more than just skin care-I’m nuts over interior design, jewelery and fashion!  The first thing I would like to share has been a total game changer-Thanks to Rebecca @ Camp Wander, I purchased 3 glass Voss waters.  These help me to DRINK MORE WATER!  Because they are glass, I’m able to fill them up the night before and add Lemon or Lime essential oils.  (3 bottles are 3 quarts, my recommended amount of water for my height and weight.)

My latest crave

(love THIS book and THIS non toxic candle.)

I adore mid century modern architecture.  The homes in Palm Springs are classic modern homes that wreak of style-think Frank Sinatra, dirty martinis and clean lines-Now you’ve got the picture!

Honestly I have not succeeded in making my own candles-But I’m totally obsessed and have been since I was old enough to be trusted with one in my room as a kid!  I like Meyer’s because they are soy.  The lavender smells absolutely amazing, but I’ve been told the basil is even better!

My latest crave So, I’m loving THESE bangles-I have 2 now, but plan to get every color-they look amazing stacked on your arm or even just one by itself!

High brow is a product I just discovered.  I LOVE brows.   I love that when they are shaped correctly, they can shave years off your face.  This product is a pencil that glides just under the brow.  It highlights your brow shape as well as gives your brow bone a POP for extra dimension!  I don’t suggest many “over the counter” products, but this one is a keeper!

My latest crave(THESE just make me happy!)

  1. How many drops of oil do you put in each bottle? Do you also add coconut oil to your diet? If so how much? Thanks! I love all the information you share with us.

    1. Ellen! I put about 6-8 drops per bottle-I don’t mix Lemon and Lime, I do either or-for no good reason! I put a tbsp. of coconut oil in my green smoothie and that’s about all I get-I need to incorporate more but if I eat it alone I still get nauseated-be careful with this if you aren’t used to ingesting coconut oil! Thanks so much!

  2. Another would you please request from me! Would you please share what you do for facial care, and what foundation do you use? I have used the Rosehip cypress firming cream for a week and it is amazing! I still need some sort of foundation but don’t know what to use. Presently I am using Paula’s choice foundation. You ought to look at her line of facial care and tell us what you think. Thanks, ellen

  3. Is there a certain Lemon essential oil that you can ingest…or does it matter…I use lemons all the time in my water. An oil will be great to carry in my purse. Thanks!
