The New Smoothie Formula….

I listened to a pod cast the other day that had me on the edge of my seat....  Now granted, smoothies don't get everyone as excited as they get me, but I found what I learned was definitely worth passing on. Collagen Beauty Greens Pineapple Smoothie!

It's no secret, I'm all about a green smoothie.  Greens, greens and more greens are my current mode of operation these days.  I may have gained 10+ lbs in the last month or so, so I'm back on track with a few extra rides on the spin bike as well as boosting nutrition.  I've found that when you boost nutrition, cravings seem to get in line.  The more crap you eat the more crap you want, true story. Drink your veggies!

I have a really hard time eating veggies.  I wish I liked more of a variety but I just don't.  I make a green smoothie about 5 times a week to help boost my intake of veggies, plus it does a lot for my skin too!  I add chia seeds which are great for blood sugar regulation, have a lot of fiber and are full of Omega 3 fatty acids and antioxidants!  I also add Maca Root powder which is also good at regulating hormones, and boosting energy.  I love cinnamon so I add it in too and it also helps … [Read more...]
