Vitamin C mask…

I'm really impressed with Vitamin C, also known as L. Ascorbic Acid.  One spa I worked at at the very beginning of my career offered a Vitamin C facial.  I remember how radiant my skin and my client's skin looked afterwards.  I never knew I could duplicate a $70 facial so cheaply and so simply!  Some of you caught my post on Primally Inspired about a Vitamin C serum.  Honestly, I enjoy my Anti Aging Serum more than the Vitamin C, simply because I like the smell and the texture better than the … [Read more...]

Homemade Peppermint Lip Balm!

It's no secret that I love making lip balms!  My recipes wouldn't be complete without the tried and true peppermint lip balm recipe!  And for a bonus, you can use a small or large Altoid tin!  They are at every check out aisle.  Plus, they are so cute!  We could all use a "curiously strong" all-natural peppermint lip balm, am I right?! Peppermint Lip Balm 1 TBSP Grapeseed Oil (grapeseed is odorless and doesn't take away from the peppermint scent) (find it HERE) 1 tsp. beeswax (find it … [Read more...]

DIY Pore Strips!

In my mid 30's I no longer deal with break outs-my skin is drier but that doesn't exempt me from blackheads!  Most people's skin needs are complex.  It's very common to have several issues that contradict each other.  Today, I'm going to make a mask that will simply purge my pores of impurities, namely blackheads.  I'm sure all of us at one point in time have used pore strips-you remember, those band aids from hell that you place on your nose, wait 10 minutes then RIP!  Ouch!  They work though.  … [Read more...]
